If these two aren't the cutest thing you've seen today, I'll personally buy you a cup of coffee.
Jean and Jon tossed around a few location ideas but ultimately fell in love with the same location he popped the question. We had an incredible time and I am so excited to show you their relationship from my perspective. xo Let me start by saying, I know some of you will roll your eyes because Valentine's Day is overly obnoxious and down right cruel for those who aren't totally head over heels for a special someone HOWEVER, I must be clear - I LOVE all things mushy, romantic, sparkly, and sweet. Mostly, I love the opportunity to shower the ones I care about with extra kisses, hugs and candy. If I didn't feel as emotional as I do frankly, I'd be in the wroooong business
: ) I also wanted to take an opportunity, on this very pink and glittery holiday, to share a very important part of my life; my sweet Olivia and darling Grant. My two little lovelies are (cue the overly dramatic mom) the most amazing, AH-MAZ-ING, part of my life. They are a hilarious, goofy, charming, tender, kind-hearted duo. Sure, they fight, and scream, and drive me bonkers at least once a day but they are mine, all mine! So, with that said, we'd like to wish you, and the ones you care about, the most wonderful day filled with candy, kisses, and sweet embraces! xo Seriously, how cute are these two?!
Emily and Ben laced up to whirl and twirl around the beautiful Depot. I was a little unsure about how I would capture their grace while shooting from the edge of the rink but everything fell right into place. These two made skating look so easy and, they sure brought a sense of romance ..... In fact, one couple continually flitted around us just gazing at these sweethearts. I had an amazing time getting to know this couple and just know their August wedding will be a blast too! xo Amaris & Daniel were married in one of the most romantic settings in Minneapolis. The ground outside was lightly dusted with fresh snow - you know, that really sparkly kind!
I was in photographer heaven when I saw all of the amazing details this couple incorporated into their heritage inspired event. From the flower girl's hand-crafted crowns, to the beautiful broach bouquet, the hand knitted throw, the groom's cufflinks & flashy socks.. Ooooh, and the beautiful fabric corsages and did I mention the ornament filled tables?! Breathtaking! The couple exchanged rings, vows, and then participated in a foot washing ceremony - very powerful! I've shared just a few of my favorite images from the evening... Next time you see me, you'll have to listen while I share all of the details of their incredible story. Enjoy!
