Allison, James and I met in the North parking lot at Lake Calhoun on 4.15.2012. We knew a storm was brewing (if you recall, there were tornado warnings all over Western MN) but we didn't realize the rapid pace of this traveling storm. About 35 minutes into our session, we were forced into a local establishment for cover. Why not take advantage and utilize that Urban Eatery, too?! The couple shined like celebrities and the patrons were quite interested in who these two love birds were. Now, I personally am not one that requires a lot of attention, but it was exciting and positively a great alternative to the outdoor chaos. I can't wait to shoot this couples wedding in September. Actually, theirs will be the first of three I'll shoot that weekend. #lovebeingbusy!
This fantastic couple first met in a coffee shop, the groom works for one of the big name coffee joints, they hired me in a coffee shop and we started their engagement session in a sweet little corner of a delicious coffee shop. {I smell the delicious aroma of my favorite brew just typing this out!}
Of course, the couple was beautifully polished. T.J. and Erica are total sweethearts and so much in love. I can't wait to shoot their wedding on June 16th... {only 53 days, but who's counting, right?!} This 38 week maternity session was a sweet little change up from all the engagement sessions I have been shooting. While I LOVE engagement sessions... Baby bellies are far too cute to pass up.
Meet Rebecca, her bump (which by the way, will be a total surprise), her sweetie pie and of course the man behind it all, her ever so gentle husband. This family came into the studio last weekend and were so full of love. {makes my job pretty easy}. I am excited to share the images and wait {anxiously} to learn if they are filling their home with more blue or adding a touch of pink. xoxo |
