Wedding Colors! Where do I begin?

Okay,  brides-to-be.... What are your colors?

If you are slightly overwhelmed or are absolutely clueless on where to begin, I've got some help for you!

First, I'll suggest you start by doing some internet research.  A rainy Saturday in April is the perfect time to grab yourself a warm coffee and a computer to research images!
(If I may offer some advice, now, don't start asking your fiancee what he thinks, just yet. He will likely try to avoid the conversation and leave you feeling frustrated.  Wait to include him when your "top 3" combos have been selected.  This is usually the less stressful process for both of you : )

The best advice I can offer you is to find "THE" color and carry around a fabric swatch to match it against everything.  This way you will always have your primary color to compare the small details to.  You should easily be able to pick up a swatch at a dress/tux shop or fabric store.

I hate to admit this, but I always had mine tucked into the side of my purse, you know the inner zippered "safety zone".  I brought it to the florist, the tux shop, dress shopping, paper stores, Target, craft stores, venues, shoe stores, showed it to our vendors and even revealed it to the occasional stranger!

Of course, by our event date, my swatch was tattered, torn and very dirty.  But, in the end, walking into our stunningly decorated ballroom for the very first time was phenomenal!  All the colors and details were crisp, consistent and simply breathtaking!

Check out a few of my favorite combos!
